Walk Along
the Jesus Trail

"He went first to Nazareth, then left there and moved to Capernaum, beside the Sea of Galilee, in the region of Zebulun and Naphtali" - (Matthew 4:13)

The "Jesus Trail" (not to be confused with Via Dolorosa) is a 40 mile walking and hiking route. From a close reading of the Gospels, this route recreates the path Jesus took, from his hometown in Nazareth through the Galilee region where he preached and performed miracles. Though it is too long to complete on one trip, we can work together to choose the starting and stopping points.

A Spiritual Journey into the City of Jerusalem

In addition to all the Sites that are traditionally visited on Classic Pilgrimage, there are many hidden gems hiding in plain sight.

Tour the archeological wonders of the City of David and The Western Wall Tunnels. Go to the Israel Museum and see for yourself the Dead Sea Scrolls and other preserved historical markings from ancient times. Travel to Ein Kerem, just outside of Jerusalem, to the Church of Visitation.

Tour of the Desert

Most classic tours will focus on the Galilee, Jordan Valley, and Jerusalem: central and northern Israel. Returning visitors often find meaning in visiting southern Israel, or Negev in Hebrew, which is mostly desert land. Ride camels through the desert where the ancient Israelites traveled to Jerusalem, visit the Byzantine period churches in Shivta, and break bread with local Bedouin communities.
